Chris Hickey
CFO
I started my career with an insurance broker as an accountant after three years I moved on to consulting with General Electric, Key bank and Bard.
While consulting with North American Instrument Corporation (NAMIC) they hired me full time as a financial analyst. I worked with a financial team and completed an initial public offering which brought in millions of dollars so that we could expand product lines and acquire companies. I went on to become the Product Forecaster where I forecasted thousands of products so that we would build the correct product mix to keep our inventory low.
After I left NAMIC I went into local government with The Village of Ballston Spa. I became the Treasurer/ CFO where I walked into a $200,000 deficit. I started budget meetings with the heads of each department. After 2 years we were running a surplus. I continued with the village for 14 years and left due to a new administration.
